What We Do

The Talent Consultants is a recruitment agency and headhunting firm in Vietnam, focused on identifying and selecting the best talent across South East Asia for our clients. We provide headhunting and recruitment services to a wide variety of multinational businesses, and consequently have established ourselves as a trusted talent acquisition consultancy in Ho Chi Minh.

We are experts in finding top Vietnamese and regional talent. We pride ourselves on working with both active and passive candidates by communicating regularly with our talent pool.

The Talent Consultants are a wholly owned subsidiary of AS White Global which has been operating in Australia and the South East Asian markets for the past decade.

Our Mission, Vision, and Values

At TTC, we have been on a growth journey in 2022. With any type of growth comes change. We have a talented group of individuals working with us in Saigon who truly make our company culture special.

The leadership team spent a couple of months discussing our culture and values with the staff, listening and uncovering what that means to our people. Ultimately, our Mission hasn’t changed. What we do has remained steadfast – connecting clients with top talent, enabling business and career success. However, our Vision required more clarity and needed to be more inspiring. Our team is certainly focussed on making career dreams come true every day at work. This includes their own careers whilst working with TTC, so this became our new vision statement.

When we reviewed our Values, these weren’t alive and well in the company. Most of us couldn’t remember them and were unable to resonate with them. We saw this as a great opportunity to work on this project together. We conducted a workshop to understand the key elements of our culture. We also ran an exercise to talk through the values and behaviour that are most important to our people. This resulted in a set of four new values that the team could relate to, and that we will continue to build into our daily lives at TTC.

Meet the Team

Our team is led by executives with extensive knowledge in recruiting across Asia Pacific and South East Asian markets. Our consultants have solid experience recruiting for both Western and local companies, and understand the various intricacies of company cultures, hiring manager preferences, and time pressure to fill roles.

Chief Executive | The Talent Consultants

Joe is the CEO of TTC, and is based in Sydney, Australia. Joe has over 30 years’ experience in strategic planning, operations and management across various sectors. For the past 10 years, Joe has built and lead the strategy for AS White Global in Southeast Asian markets, supporting partners from Australia, the UK and the USA. Joe is MBA qualified from UTS.

Originally hailing from New Zealand, Sarah is based in Sydney, Australia, and is the Director of Talent for TTC. With over 20 years of experience in HR and recruitment, Sarah has significant experience sourcing, selecting and developing talent across the Asia Pacific & South East Asian regions. Her expertise in talent acquisition spans across agency, internal recruitment and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) roles. She has also led the HR strategy and People streams for both private and publicly-listed companies. Sarah holds a BCA degree in HRIR and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, with Distinction.

Ms. Nhung has 7 years in Talent Acquisition. She has helped several candidates in the Vietnamese marketplace get their dream jobs they are seeking within various senior positions, from manager, senior manager, director to C-level. Specializing in the professional service industry which includes banking, insurance, financial services, management consulting, she gains in-depth knowledge from her work with some of the most highly sought-after employers. She is an insightful recruiter that thrives on helping people. She possesses an inspiring, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to learn more about each client as well as their industry. Ms. Linh has more than 8 years of experience with executive search firms. She has built up an expansive network of contacts in many industries, especially Real Estate, one of Vietnam’s fastest growing industries. She has contingency and retained search experience managing 360-degree recruitment solutions for her clients. Her expertise gives her a keen eye for details and the remarkable ability to quickly grasp each employer’s needs.
With a strong passion for recruitment and an ever-expanding network of high-profile clients as well as candidates. She is holding a bachelor’s degree, Business of Marketing (stream management) from RMIT university.

Ms. Xuan has a strong sales background and has worked with many large international companies. She has spent several years working with variety of clients from MNC’s to NGO’s, startup Tech Companies, and Professional Services. She was trained by a leading end-to-end HR solutions provider, focused on organizational development, through consultation, career transitioning, learning & development, and recruitment solutions. From these efforts, she has gained a wide professional network of local and international professionals. With a great ability to listen and decipher her clients key pain points and a passion for helping people to reach their full potential, she focuses her efforts to 360-degree recruitment solutions with an ‘open-minded’ mentality to executive search. She is holding Bachelor of Spanish Linguistics and Literature

Ms. Hien has over 6 years of experience in recruitment positions in both an executive search firm (external) and a world-renowned certification organization (internal). Along with her dedication and commitment to excellence, she quickly understands the needs of her clients and candidates. With a consultative approach, she attracts top Mid-level and C-level professionals for Industrial sector (Renewable Energy, Heavy Manufacturing, Oil& Gas, Chemical, Heavy Equipment, Agriculture, Automotive, Building Material, Engineering, Packaging, Shipping Line, HVAC, …). She is passionate in her goal of surpassing her client’s expectations and assisting them with talent acquisition. She is holding the Bachelor of Finance and Banking.

Linh is holding a bachelor’s degree in banking from the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh city. She has experience in a tax admin position and experience in a banking firm as well. She is young, dynamic, willing to learn, and has a strong passion for the human resources firm.

Linh Pham

Mr. Tung Le is the Business Development Specialist at The Talent Consultant (TTC). He has worked in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industry for more than 8 years at global organizations. With years of experience in B2B sales and working with a variety of client sectors (FMCG, oil and gas, ICT, manufacturers, etc.), Tung’s absolute focus is delivering the best value and services to clients. Tung is a creative thinker who can manage a wide range of customer and stakeholder expectations in order to generate solutions and insights that increase revenues and brand publicity. He is holding a bachelor’s degree at the University of Sciences VNU, Ho Chi Minh City.

Martin is holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire – UK. He has experience in recruitment positions in both executive search firms (external) and internal recruitment teams for international companies, familiar with both Vietnam and Singapore markets. Martin is a dedicated and curious recruiter, he handles every vacancy with high commitment and applies different methodologies to find the most suitable solution in each firm. He focuses on professional services, which included banking, insurance, financial services, management consulting, and real estate.

Selenia graduated from RMIT University Vietnam with a bachelor’s degree in tourism and hospitality management. She has prior sales expertise in the hospitality sector and has worked with clients from a variety of businesses. In her most recent position, she developed and maintained connections with over 100 accounts. She possesses other marketing expertise in addition to sales, including Photoshop and a Google Ads certificate. Her desire to interact with people and develop relationships led her to change her career to human resources. She is young, vivacious, and willing to collaborate with many individuals to achieve a shared objective.

Sales and Marketing Specialist

Ms. Vy has 7 years of sourcing experience working in technology agency and in areas such as talent mapping, candidate generation, outreach and engagement, projects management. She has experience building high-quality pipelines of potential candidates for a variety of IT roles, including software engineers, cloud engineers, test engineers, cloud architects, solutions architects, data scientists, engineering managers, and so on for companies like Amazon, AB Inbev, Zapier, Checkr… Vy also has team management experience, which includes coaching, mentoring, and checking performance reviews for her mentees. Having a strong sourcing background, Vy is passionate about being a recruiter with insightful knowledge in various industries and polishing her career path professionally by collaborating with like-minded and high EQ people. She is holding a Bachelor’s degree, Business Administration of Phan Thiet University.
